Cohabitation Agreements

A cohabitation agreement is a legal document entered into by, unmarried parties who are living together or plan to live together. The aim of the agreement is to clearly set out all financial arrangements, arrangements for children and/ or arrangements regarding property. The agreement can include arrangements for whilst you’re living together and should you separate or one of you pass away.

As long as both parties have obtained independent legal advice, the agreement has been properly drafted and executed and signed as a deed then cohabitation agreements will be seen as a legally binding contract.
