I recently completed the staircasing process on my shared ownership flat using the services of Allsop Durn. Mark Goreham was my solicitor and I cannot recommend him or the firm enough. This is the first time I've given 1 star but Im very disappointed with the unprofessionalism of Allsop Durn. Three years ago we instructed Allsop Durn to undertake our house purchase, we're now in the process of selling the house and have just accepted an offer, only to find that the Leasehold is still in the previous owners name!! What's more disappointing is how Allsop Durn are dealing with their mistake, there's been no apology and trying to blame everyone else rather than dealing with it. Six weeks into finding this problem they have failed to resolve it, it's jeopardising the sale of our house and causing a lot of stress. We would have expected better communication and a pro-active approach to resolving this potentially catastrophic matter.
